Terms and conditions

 

1. The Nu Metro Cinemas SMS and Win Movies for a Year Promotion (the promotion) runs from 15^th November 2018 to midnight on the 15^th January 2018.

 

2. The promotion is open to everyone except members, employees and consultants of Nu Metro cinemas during the promotional period as stipulated in these terms and conditions.

 

3. To enter, the customer should SMS the words ‘FREE MOVIES’ to 40675 the customer will receive, within 24 hours, a return message indicating their entry has been received. Only SMSes received by 15 January 2019 will be issued with a response.

 

4. The prize is 1 (one) Nu Metro VIP Movie Card valid for one year from date of issue.

 

• Please note the following terms and conditions of use for your Nu Metro Cinemas VIP Card:
  1. The cardholder is entitled to two free movie tickets per week.
  2. The Nu Metro VIP Movie Card must be presented, no copies will be accepted.
  3. Each card is valid for two people (the cardholder and a guest) for any movie that does not have a complimentary restriction, any show, any day of the week (not valid at Scene VIP, Scene Xtreme, 4DX or Pantheon Cinemas).
  4. Each movie can only be seen once.
  5. The card is not transferable and may not be used by anyone other than you, as depicted by the name on the card.
  6. Nu Metro Cinemas reserves the right to ask for identification from the patron who presents the card.
  7. Should management become aware of a card being abused, the directors of Nu Metro Cinemas reserve the right to withdraw the card.
  8. Please be aware that due to the large demand on our films during opening week, complimentary tickets and cards are valid from the films’ second week of release. Please check our newspaper directories or ask our cinema staff, who will be happy to assist you and point out which films are still restricted.  Please pay particular attention to this to avoid any embarrassment.
  9. The use of this card is valid only at Nu Metro Cinemas ticket counters. The card cannot be used for telephonic or online bookings.
  10. The directors of Nu Metro Cinemas reserve the right to cancel this card at their discretion at any time.

 

6. SMSes are charged at R1.00 (one rand) per SMS, the costs are for the customer’s account. No free SMS bundles apply.

 

7    No member, employee or consultant of Nu Metro Cinemas, a division of Avusa Entertainment Investments (Pty) Ltd and/or any of its affiliated companies and/or agencies; members of their immediate family; or members of the sponsors or suppliers of this competition, including their affiliated companies and/or agencies, or members of their immediate family may participate in this promotion.

 

8. The draw will take place on 23 January 2019. Winners will be contacted by email and phone. 3 attempts will be made to contact the winner over a 48hour period. If the selected winner is not contactable a runner up winner will be selected until a winner is contacted. Nu Metro’s decision is final.

 

9. Nu Metro will not be held responsible for incorrect entries received.

 

10. No scene club points may be earned on the free movie tickets redeemed, however, qualifying confectionery purchases will earn scene club points.

 

10  Nu Metro reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time.
