’n Film oor geloof in ’n onbeperkte God. This one-night-only performance with world-class sound and lighting was the biggest Afrikaans musical production in South African history. Featuring 900 vocalists, musicians and technicians, the night was the experience of a lifetime.
With the support of artists from across the country, people were invited to attend the spectacle at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on 20 March, 2012. This was to be no ordinary video shoot, but a moment in South African music history. On stage were artists such as Coleske, Romanz, and the Tshwane Gospel Choir and a symphony orchestra.
Joe Niemand’s career spans ten years and seven albums, and thie performance included a collection of his most popular songs, including the radio hit “Words,” and “A New Day,” the theme song from the film Faith Like Potatoes. He also sang “Ek Sal Nie Bang Wees Nie,” which recently achieved platinum status and was one of the biggest-selling songs of 2011.
An Afrikaans star, he was not only able to fill the biggest indoor arena in the country, but also to offer up to his audience a fantastic production.
