Thematically conceived as a Greek tragedy of claustrophobia, incest, rage and madness set within a poor white family whose implosion echoes affairs of state as Afrikaner power wanes and a new nation is born.<br /><br />On the day of the first general election, Lambert Benade will turn 21 and Uncle Treppie promises him the girl of his dreams.
