Mere baap pehle aap

Janaradhan Wishvanbhar Rane (Paresh Rawal), a widower has spent his life bringing up his two children, Chirag (Manoj Joshi) and Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna). Janaradhan has done everything to bring his children up in the best possible manner. Now that they've grown up, Gaurav takes on his father's responsibilities, sharing in the management of the household and their business. Though he is the youngest sibling, he treats his father like a child. Gaurav is on guard with the vigilance of a disciplined parent: He shouts, threatens, and fights, and occasionally even locks his father up to prevent him from getting spoiled by prankster best friend and divorcee, Madhav Mathur (Om Puri) who is desperate to get married.<br /><br />Madhav and Janaradhan, always in search of a bride for Madhav, inevitably land up in trouble, forcing Gaurav to bail them out and face the embarrassment.
