Rambo

John Rambo is living in northern Thailand, working on a longboat in the Salween River. On the Burma border, the world's longest-running civil war rages into its 60th year. Even though medics, rebels and refugees keep passing by on their way through the war-torn region, Rambo lives a solitary life, and has long given up on fighting.<br /><br />That changes when a group of missionaries search out the 'American river guide.' They explain that the Burmese military has laid landmines across the trails, and ask him to guide them up the river so they can deliver supplies, food and bibles. Two weeks later, the missionaries have not returned. Rambo's reluctance is palpable, but he knows he has to help. What follows is a descent into hell.
