When Abeeda, a 49-year-old devout Muslim woman, visits a casino with a friend and wins, she finds herself returning again and again. Her addiction spirals out of control, especially when she learns that her gay son has contracted AIDS.<br /><br />Abeeda?s addiction becomes so bad that within in a month of the death of her son, Abeeda has lost everything and arranges to have her car stolen in order to get insurance money. But things go wrong?<br /><br />Then there's Abeeda's love triangle. The man she loves, Imhran, is married to her sister, Zulpha. Abeeda grew to regret her sister's marriage, even though she earlier insisted that Imrhan go ahead with the marriage, in order to protect her sister's feelings.<br /><br />At the same time Zulpha, always the gentle and caring sister, finds a lump in her breast, and begins her battle, knowing all along that her husband?s love is for Abeeda.<br /><br />In the end, Abeeda, a woman with a strong streak, struggles through her addiction and other things in her life, where in the end, she must triumph.
