First come. First cured. After being kicked out of every private school, wealthy student Charlie Bartlett battles to fit in at his new public high school.
But as he begins to better understand the social hierarchy within the school, he soon becomes a self-appointed underground (and underage) psychiatrist to all those in need at school, handing out pills to students he has for himself from his own psychiatric treatments.
When Charlie falls in love with the principal’s daughter, his world and psychiatric advice begins to unravel, and he realises that there’s a whole lot more to life than just handing out pills.
