By using or purchasing tickets via the Nu Metro Cinemas website the user expressly agrees:

1. Film and Release Date Information
DInformation on the website regarding films and their release dates in South Africa is as received from the studios and distributors of the films. This information is subject to change without notice and should be considered as a guide rather than a fixed schedule. [see also (11)]
2. Pensioners' and Children's Discounts
Discounts applicable to particular age groups or other special concessions can only be claimed when purchasing tickets at the cinemaplex. Ages cannot be verified at time of purchase on the website.
3. Electronic Communications
By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.
4. E-Commerce and Privacy
The Website www.numetro.co.za sells cinema tickets and confectionery vouchers online. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser / user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third party companies outside of the Johncom Group.
Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances.
The Provider’s payment service provider, MyGate Communications, undertakes that it has taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payment for goods sold. The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
5. Checking of online transaction ticket details
It is the user’s responsibility to check all tickets before accepting the ticket offer under the online transaction. Nu Metro Theatres cannot rectify any mistakes after acceptance by the user.
6. Loyalty programme benefits
It is the user’s responsibility to enter their loyalty programme details before completion of the transaction to purchase tickets. This includes, but is not restricted to, benefits offered to members of the Momentum and Fanatics rewards programmes. Nu Metro Theatres is not liable for loyalty programme rewards with any online transactions where member details have been incorrectly entered by the user.
7. Cash refunds at cinema sites
No cash refunds for online tickets will, under any circumstances, be made by any Nu Metro cinema site. Where a show is cancelled for whatever reason, cinema readmission tickets will be issued at the discretion of the cinema manager.
8. Age restrictions
It is the user’s responsibility to be aware of and to adhere to age restrictions that are applied to films shown in the Republic of South Africa. Should a Nu Metro Theatres’ manager or staff member be presented with a valid cinema ticket, purchased online or by any other means, but by a person not meeting the age restriction requirements attached to the film, the holder will not be allowed access to the cinema and no ticket refunds or readmission tickets will be granted.
9. Rights of admission
Nu Metro Entertainment reserves all rights in terms of admission to cinemas, regardless of whether or not the ticketholder purchased the tickets online.
10. Updating of the Terms and Conditions
Nu Metro Entertainment reserves the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
11. Copyright and intellectual property rights
Nu Metro Entertainment provides certain information on the website. Content currently or anticipated to be displayed at this Website is provided by Provider, its affiliates and/or subsidiary, or any other third party owners of such content, and includes but is not limited to Literary Works, Musical Works, Artistic Works, Sound Recordings, Cinematograph Films, Sound and Television Broadcasts, Program-Carrying Signals, Published Editions and Computer Programs (“the Content”). All such proprietary works, and the compilation of the proprietary works, are copyright the Provider, its affiliates or subsidiary, or any other third party owner of such rights (“the Owners”), and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. The Providers reserve the right to make any changes to the Website, the Content, or to products and/or services offered through the Website at any times and without notice. All rights in and to the Content is reserved and retained by the Owners.
